Greg Cammarata is owner and founder of Reggio. Mr. Cammarata created the Reggio menu around many of the recipes handed down within the family for generations. Grandma Cammarata's marianara sauce is a staple on the Reggio menu. The restaurant's name is derived from the town in Southern Italy where the Cammarata's descend, namely Reggio di Calabria.
Prior to opening Reggio in October of 1998, Mr. Cammarata utilized his degree in Business Administration and Communications from Stonehill College in a number of entrepreneurial ventures. His long time goal has been to develop a restaurant where he can recreate Italian specialties reminiscent of Italy. Reggio enables him to provide diners with this very authentic cuisine.
